As previous reviewers have mentioned this place is practically left to yourself to enjoy, contemplate and reminisce. The amphitheatre is a slight walk away from the ruins, heading towards the ministry.

This area was recommended to us to visit. We weren't disappointed. There is a historical Church near to the amphitheatre but you need to contact the custodian if you want to see inside.

In the middle of Italy and the Abruzzo lies an Roman city surrounded by the Apennines Mountains This is a very good example of a complete town that includes all of the "modern comforts" including public toilets.

Incredibly intact Roman village complete with amphitheater. We loved walking around without bumping into any other tourists.
