Very nice beach but not a sand beach though
Oct 2021
Milos beach is a very nice beach but if you want to go there, you should be aware of the stones. It is not a perfect sand beach but has quite a lot of stones.

Nevertheless, the color of the water is amazing and you will find too many people there. Usually only a handful of people go there, which is actually very nice.

Amazing Place
Aug 2021
One of the most beautiful beaches i have ever visited in Greece with great quality of sand and amazing blue-turquoise waters . You can either go with a taxi boat from Agios Nikitas Beach which was a big plus during the hot days of August . Definitely would come again

Milos Beach, Lefkas

Wonderful beach with stunning waters. Access might be a challenge via the narrow pathway through however the view from the top of the hill worth all the effort. Parking available on by the main street for free or paid.

We took the water taxi (€3 each) from Agios Nikolas beach and that was the best part of it. Sun bed/parasol was €10 each and apart from a shack selling expensive drinks and food, that was it.
You need to go prepared with food and drink and lots of cover from the sun. The beach was nice enough, but I wasn't overly impressed.
We found The Deck Beachbar on the way out of Agios Nicolas towards Lefkas Town a much better place with decent grub, toilets, showers and sunbed/parasol €5 each for the day.
If you want seclusion, there are little beaches on the stretch between Agios Nicolas and The Deck which are stunning. You need to be prepared with food drink, parasols etc and happy to trudge a little way.

Top beach!
Aug 2021
Very beautiful, clear waters, not crowded (in august). We loved it. we had a hotel on the hill above so we could walk down to the beach. There is small kiosk selling drinks and some beds/umbrellas to rent. There is also a guy that comes along selling drinks and small snacks.

What's not to like?
Aug 2021
Amazing beach with the typical blue green western lefkada water, plus sand dunes. There are sun beds and umbrellas for rent at an excessive price, but also free space if you want to bring your own staff. Boats from Agios Nikitas disembark near the sun beds, so if you put your umbrella on the other side of the beach you will enjoy some privacy. Attention: put a lot if sunscreen because the sun is reflected on the sand dunes and is extra strong

A hidden gem
Aug 2021 • Couples
A hidden gem in the island of Lefkas. You can approach it on foot ( if you are keen on hiking) around 20 mind walk with a lot of stairs or through Ag. Nikitas beach by small boats. No need to book but make sure you have cash with you as they don't accept cards. €3 per way per person. The beach is not fully organised so make sure you are well prepared with umbrella and water/food.

Beautiful beach
Aug 2021 • Family
Wonderful beach!! You have to visit it. Be careful about the prices at the cantine.. Coffee 7 euro, toast 6 euro, burger or club sandwich about 15 euro. The chips were rotten and the owner was very rude.. he told us that we can keep his tax id if we want to make any complaint!!! Shame on you!!!

Walk over the mountain and you will see nice views

Take with you water, some beers and an umbrella and have a beautiful day on beautiful beach. Its big, so you will have enough place and silence. Just for me was 20 euro for umbrella set, or 10 euro for mochito too much and unacceptable.

Excellent Beach
Aug 2021 • Couples
TLDR, By far the best beach we went to in our Lefkada trip, highly recommended.

In more detail:

The beach itself was lovely with small pebbles and sand, not too crowded compared to the rest we saw. The water is as you see it in the photos, wonderful, clean and a bit towards the colder side due to a few currents passing from certain places.

View from one side is a very green mountain with cliffs, and only a couple of buildings breaking up the view of the nature.

There is a tiny shop with umbrellas and sun-beds, but as seen from various other reviews, its not the best and it taints the otherwise remote feeling of this beach.

Highly suggested to bring your own things (at least umbrella, water, something to eat), if you want to avoid that shop and be independent.

We went around 15:00, on a Wednesday in August, and it had enough people to feel full closer the sea, but with many meters empty space between the umbrellas of each group. Felt way more relaxed than other beaches we been around the island.

Transportation is the main catch for the place.
There is a hiking path from a nearby village, that some report that is 10min long, others 20min, others 30min.

We chose the alternative, which is the small boats that go constantly back n forth from Nikitas Beach to Mylos Beach every 10-15min.

It costed us 12 euros (back n forth for 2 people), they where easy to find, and in both cases there was a small queue to get on them, with the one leaving the island taking more time.

Other than the fact that they stop around 19:30 in the afternoon (the time fluctuates based on people, sometime earlier or later, just ask them), we didn’t find anything wrong with them, super easy to use.

Last, to get to those boats in Nikita Beach, you need to walk through the paved road in Agios Nikitas Village, roughly for 10min. Note that no vehicles are allowed in that area, so you need to park before it and walk the rest of the way.

Parking depends a lot, we were lucky to find quickly, but I suspect from the density of the cars in the area, that will not always be the case.

Overall we loved the place, if we had more days on the island we would visit it again.
