I wouldn't recommend this gym! I don't think it's cleaned often and has a very unprofessional owner (if you're a woman) - I was very uncomfortable. Also you get scammed when you're foreign - be prepared to pay high cost for amateur training.

Afrer read your review, it's feel like you are scammer try to write bad review by FAKE informations. Ok this is our REAL informations. You should not only thinking, we are a Muaythai school umder Thailand Government, not a regular muaythai camp. All are in standards and standards are approved by Thai government. Including cleaning process too, we did it followed 100% on schedule. All equipment we give everyone use for free, if you need a brand new you can buy a new one or pay for rent a new. But i think you tight budget right? because say our cost are high ( But It's amost the same in Chiangmai training cost , same with my shool). For you say amateur training . If u come first time you will jump to regular group classes, will training with friends go step by step with them, If you feel you very good skill you should do a private training it's 1000b for one hour or can do in a fighters program if you need it. When you come fisrt time no one see your skills before, so can't teach much details also someone tell she good skills but it's only talky, stills very beginner's muaythai skills, that's they have still start with the beginner teaching.

I had an amazing workout doing the beginners muay thai session. It was great, they didn’t go easy on us at all and I loved it. Quick and fun way to get a sweat on :)

My wife and I had the pleasure of training at Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym for a couple of weeks in March 2022. Our trainer Boon was very positive and encouraging, and he adjusted the training perfectly to our level of fitness (or lack of it...)

We were warned beforehand that the level of English was not the best, but didn’t find that a problem at all. Boon was great at explaining what he meant with simple English and demonstrations.

We only did private classes. It was a very good experience, can recommend!

My husband and son took private Muay Thai lessons at this gym with Coach Bank. We cannot say enough good things about their experience. First of all, the location in the heart of Old Town was convenient, easy to find, spacious and clean. Coach Bank was friendly yet professional and accommodated both their skill levels and worked with both of them back-to-back seamlessly.

After only 3 weeks of training twice a week, they both have a good working knowledge of the basics and some more advanced techniques as well. We would highly recommend this gym and Coach Bank to coach both children and adults, beginners and more experienced fighters. It’s a great workout and both my husband and son really benefitted from his training. Thank you Coach Bank and Chiang Mai Muay Thai Gym!

My boyfriend and I had no muay thai experience before our class at Chiang Mai Muay Thai Gym. We had a great experience learning the technique and skills. Our instructors were super friendly. It was also a great workout. After the class we saw 6 muay thai fights at Thaphae Boxing Stadium. Really fun day!

My partner Chris and I are currently travelling through Asia and wanted to do some muay thai in the home of it, both for the experience and the workout . We definitely got both.

We found chiang mai muay thai gym online and as if was only a 5 min walk from out guesthouse we decided to go. We found the session times and prices easily on line (on their facebook) . A quick message on Facebook assured me it was suitable for all abilities and put me at ease .

The gym it's self is a good size and kind of open air. We started with a 15 minute run/stretch warm up. After this my partner and those with experience did some shadow boxing then a circuit. I was taken with an instructor and had a turbo teach on the basic moves; Jab, cross, elbows, knees, push kicks, blocks and kicks. After this half the class did a few round on the bags and the other half were paired with an instructor to do pad work (we swapped around after). The guy i was with pushed me to work hard but it was still enjoyable - Very sweaty! The last part we did some sparring before a stretch cool down.

We both really enjoyed it an would reccomend it to any one (That's not afraid of a bit of hard work!)

Thank you!

There's some reviewers who says this place isn't great if you're looking for a true Muay Thai experience. They're probably right. But I had never done Muay Thai or any type of martial art, was looking for a good workout, and to have some fun. This place fit the bill. They're not exactly friendly, but it's a lot of fun and a great introduction. I've started taking kickboxing classes.

This is the best Muay Thai Gym in Chiang Mai! I’m not super fit and had not taken a class like this before so I was a little nervous my first class, but they are great with all fitness and skill levels so it was so much fun! Once I took my first class I loved it and now I take classes 3 times a week. The trainers and staff are awesome! I can’t recommend this gym enough!
