White sand and crystal blue sea. Best beach in Zanzibar. Almost no tide so perfect for swimming. Nice restaurants (Kendwa Rocks was our favourite for lunch) and lots of space for sunbathing. Beach sellers are really friendly, not pushy like some reviews say, and it’s...More

Kendwa is the best beach we have ever found and we're from Western Australia where we're spoilt with some of the world's best beaches. After four months beach hopping in East Africa and a month searching Zanzibar for the best beach, we discovered Kendwa and,...More

The food in the beach restaurant is good and there is a happy hour during 13-17. Especially the Red Snapper is good. Here is also a full moon party every full moon.

The beach is as if it is photoshopped!!! The water is so light and clear, and sand is whitest I have ever seen. Best of all, it is not that crowded. This was best part of our holiday in Zanzibar.

Kendwa beach is on great location, because has no low tide if you compare to the other parts of Zanzibar. The beach is clean, has a lot of bars, restaurants and you can also find the place just for yourself. You can swim here at...More
