The best beach of the island, white flour beach, gorgeous sunsets, nice walks for 10 km with low tide to nungwi and back.

From what we have seen this is one of the best beaches on the Island. Beautiful soft sand and stunning sunsets. I recommend this beach

As far as tides are really a problem in Zanzibar for those who love to swim, Kendwa is the right place. You'll not feel the low tides hear. And will see plenty of starfishes and the bounty-like views.

Lovely beach to go for a stroll along. Some beautiful scenery along the way. Plenty of pushy salesman that can detract from the experience though. Lots of watersports along the beach.

One of the best beaches with clear blue-green water and white sand beaches, not much is terms of waves but lots of activities including boating, water scooters, sailing etc. including beach ball and snorkeling.

On my opinion Kendwa beach is much better than more famous Nungwi beach. It is much cleaner and nicer to walk. It does not have seaweed or it is at least cleaned.
