Couples
We went with Mestre Joaquim Matias (the official tour guide) and it was amazing! So much history and stories of the island. Really knowledgeable and friendly. The island is beautiful and great spot to visit! Highly recommend it.

The ride from Porto Covo was fun, and when you arrive you have a great landscape. If you are afraid of heights, do not go on the "tour" around the island! specially at the end there is a path that is very very scary (and dangerous, even) - and you can either go all the way back alone or force yourself through that path. This hole island is no big deal.

Sunday morning at this beach was really nice. Although there were a lot of people, we really enjoyed the sun. Water amazing.

This beach is very beautiful with rocks, cliffs, waves and a castle. Even in August, it is not crowded. Great landscape.

Nice llittle spot to visit for a few hours. We travelled from faro airport with faroairporttransfersalgarve.com and they were fabulous. Very good company transfers

What a great place! Spent several days here with 2 young children. The crystal clear waters with just a shallow undulation, the sight of the island from the beach, unspoiled, uncluttered of people - perfect!

Family beach with a long shore line inviting bathers to take long walks. It is a shame that for the beach area that is not patrolled/watched people keep bringing their pets and spoiling such a lovely place.

Really great beach, almost hidden, away from the noise, super quiet and calm. We had the beach almost to ourselves due to it's size
