All I say is go! The colours in the sunlight. Such a lovely Sunday. I have been to Venice many times and had extra time. Don't rush and do the combined island tour. Pick one. I chose Burano and spent a half day at leisure walking around, soaking up the atmosphere, having a coffee and doing a bit of shopping. Plan your day with the times of the water bus. It takes about 45 minutes to F.Te Nove or 1 hour if you want to go to San Marco. For San Marco, boats are less frequent I believe (every hour). Burano is really small and easy to walk. You can't get lost. You have to try the biscuits!

If you are visiting Venice, would definitely recommend to visit Burano. It’s just 45 mins by Vaporito transport. The beautiful colored houses provide backdrop for some amazing photos. The place is really beautiful and would definitely recommend it

The three bridges over the canals of Burano and a characteristic place in this colorful town where you can take a souvenir photo.

Located at the confluence of three canals, the three bridges provides a good view down each branching canal. It’s incredibly crowded and the houses are not as vividly coloured as photos would have you believe

From this area, you can see the wandering tourists, the canal-side restaurants, the brightly colored buildings, and the bridges over the canals. These things are quintessential Burano, and really give you a taste of the island. If you can find a spot to stand out of the way, you can just stand and take in the whole ambiance from this very spot.

I loved our visit to Burano. The little house and the views really make it a great place for people to take some amazing photos and make some beautiful memories on their trip.

This view is the type of place where jigsaw puzzles are made from.

Just loved walking around this place.
