I visited the museum while staying in Werneck Germany and only had 30 mins to view it but was still happy to see all the collection of tanks, trucks, apc, artillery , rifles, guns and grenades,and jets on display both inside and outside the museum. They had some Korean war era jets on display in the field part of the museum and even had a world war 1 trench exhibition and some ww1 armored vehicles. The nicest thing of all was the generosity of the museum owner/caretaker who was about to close the museum but decided to let me in despite being the only customer left at that time. The souvenir shop he had was also very nice with a mixture of new and antiques/used military equipment and clothing. I bough a soldier cap from east german army era and german poncho.…

We traveled to this part of Germany with a family member who served here in the peacekeeping forces. A visit to the Museum Stammheim was an opportunity to remember his service and the service of generations before. This is a very nice collection of military hardware including tanks and track vehicles and aircraft both old and not so old. Most of the collection is housed indoors so not so great weather like we had is not a problem. We also enjoyed a stop in the cafe.…
