This is definitely a nice area, but too many people there and to be quiet, as can be, just go to the extreme right of the parking Certainly better in October or April

This is a beautiful beach untill 11 in the morning. After that the tourist bussen arruve and it gets very crowdy. But stil a lovely place to visit.

we've been there at christmass and had nice weather ,it was beautiful. We stay there for about 3 hours and the temperature was about 17 grades. it was to could to swim but beautiful to walk at the beach.

Very nice beach, the sand is beautiful and the water is fabulous. You can rent sun loungers and parasol.

The most beautiful and weird beach I've ever been to! Beach is a elongated peninsula with white and pink sandy. To reach the island you have to walk through the sea! A truly heavenly landscape that you should definitely visit!

The drive from Kalathas was about 2 hours, a short bit of it was highway but it was mostly driving through mountains on narrow roads through villages. Beautiful scenery. Driver does need to pay attention though because the road has a lot of sharp turns....More

You can get the boat to Paleochora think it was 16.30 pm not sure on bikes. I booked with Selino travel in Paleochora might be worth contacting them.

Sorry, I can't say. We drove (rented a car), but surely if you are in a resort or apartment the reception/owner will recommend a travel agent/day trip service to take. There are tons of those that go here, I believe.
