If you like a surfeit of gilt, this is for you. Viewable only from outside the gate when I was there. Intricate and ornate and totally over the top. Restraint was a word unknown to the designer.

It is worth it to go a bit out of your way to see this chapel, especially if you enjoy religious architecture. It is over-the-top gold and white gorgeous.

The inside is narrow but the ceilings and artwork are spectacular. There was a mass taking place in the side chapel of gold so we could not enter. Beautiful short stop on a tour of Puebla's lovely historic buildings and places.

this chapel, located within the church of Santo Domingo, is all clad in gold, baroque style with talavera (a typical Mexican porcelain) and is considered one of the eight wonders of the world.

From the outside you can’t really tell, but once you step inside, it’s a great surprise! The main attraction is the chapel, which is sall but really stunning.

Belongs to the church of Santo Domingo. Free entrance. All covered with gold, amazing. When I visited there wasn't anyone else so it was very quiet and peaceful.
