First time in the Yucatan and first time in a cenote. This was a great experience and my guide Abel was awesome. Showed up on a rental scooter and for 400 MXN it's a great tour.

Otoniel was an amazing guide and this was an unforgettable experience. I am claustrophobic and still thoroughly enjoyed the cave and cavern and the water was so refreshing. We had some anxious little ones in our group and our guide was patient with them and very encouraging, and even they had a great time. Even the photos they took of us were great. Worth every penny and more!

I cannot recommend the Chaak Tun cenote tour enough. Angelo is an awesome tour guide; he made sure the experience was the perfect mix of informative and fun. This was the highlight of our trip to Mexico!

We had a great time with Abel our tour guide in this Cenote. It was way less overcrowded than I've heard about other cenotes and much more of a natural and adventurous experience. We enjoyed hearing about the ecosystem of the cenote and seeing all of the stalactites and cave formations. There is no restaurant on site, but bathrooms, lockers, and everything you need to go into the cenote.

Things to note: The water is a bit chilly, so wear a wetsuit if you think you'll need it(they're available) and these are caves and not open so it's something to be aware of as well. If you get claustrophobic, this is not the cenote for you. That said we MUCH preferred this experience to the "theme parks" that are touted as cenotes in the area.

Great tour for my wife and I at Cenote Chaak Tun. The tour company is well organized and professional. Our guide, Otoniel, was first class and made our tour both fun and informative. Highly recommended. Good value. Only a short taxi ride from the center of Playa Del Carmen.

Everything is awesome, the guide Otoniel is showing all around the caverns, plants and animals, this guy knows a lot about it.

The water inside the caverns is cool, clear and has a soft white sand, also you can watch cat fish, in the jungle part you can see monkeys, fox, beauty birds, etc.

The only negative point is that you can't use your camera, cellphone or Go pro, the reason is because they sell pictures to you, the pictures you can buy are $800 Mexican pesos, but they give you just 8-10 pictures, i think is too expensive for the quality and quantity.

We went there after snorkeling with my sister and brother-in-law. We weren't quite sure what to expect. This tour exceeded our expectations. It was professionally run. We were provided with water shoes, a waterproof flashlight, and a life vest. Our tour guide Abel was fantastic, in terms of his personality and knowledge. We toured 2 caverns. I wont go into detail so as to not ruin any surprise. This was of the coolest tours I've ever done. Afterwards was a little tequila tasting.
