They should be more specific on the "unlimited drinks" they only had water, beer, and juice" the rest you had to pay. I paid for deluxe but was being treated like a plus. We went to buffet but was only allowed to drink one drink anything else had to be paid. Our guide Mili was suppose to explain a Mayan calander we purchased as I don't understand it but never did and was asleep all the way home. Don't pay for Deluxe it's not worth it just get a basic one anyways the drinks are very limited.

Dear Customer, We are sorry to hear that. We wouldn't want to generalize from an incident to a particular experience. Normally this kind of things doesn't use to happen. We would appreciate if you could share more details of this issue through our email (the one we used to contact you). Please provide the following info so we can investigate why did this happen: 1-Lead traveler name 2-Date of departure 3-Number of Bus 4-Did you ask directly to the host or tour guide for your drinks? 5-When the second drinks was denied to you, did you inform to your tour guide? and what did he/she say? 6-Was our tour guide asleep while requested? In the way back, the tour guide let the travelers on board have a little nap since normally they end tired, sometimes (because they get tired too) our guides take a little nap when they consider it is proper and not at some point where it is considered that they could be needed. This is a 13 to 14 hours tour, it is human that in some part of the trip our staff take a little break. 7-Our guides are very experienced and professional. Did you remind your tour guide to explain your Mayan Calendar? Thanks for sharing your own specific experience with us. We will wait for your email and if it's the case we will check and fix what happened in that specific trip. Kind regards

We enjoyed the experience. Jorge, our bus tour guide, was amazing. It was a hot day, if you come in the summer get ready to sweat. I recommend that you ask for water as often as you need to stay hydrated because there are 60 plus guests in the bus, which is hard to keep up with while giving the information prior to arriving to your destination. Our tour guides did the best to keep up with the drinks. Again, Jorge was amazing, he provided such great information and his personality made it even better! We met some amazing people as well and had a great time. Our favorite part was the cenote. We would've love to stay there longer, after sweating bullets at Chichen Itza it was like entering heaven. Gracias Jorge! You are the BEST!

Dear Noraliz , This summer our tourist ports have been so populated with visitors from all over the world that we do not want them to stay out of our activities even when the request are outnumbered. To keep a responsible balance, we are being to rigurous with the prevention protocols of Bio Security, some counted times, we travel at full capacity but, with the guarantee that everyone on board is completely safe and without any symptoms de enfermedad infecciosa. Otherwise we would be forced to rise our prices and this would affect you, our customers, putting affordable quiality away from your budgets. For more exigent customers we recommend a private tour where you travel with your family or friends only and no one else but you goes on board but, this tours are way more expensive ($300-500 USD per person). Jorge is one of our most experienced tour guides and very knowledgable ot the Mayan Culture, we will let him know about your comments. Most of our tour guides are very qualified and they will make you spend these hours of your trip in a very special, interesting and funny ways. Thank you very much for sharing with us your particular experience. We are always looking forward to bring you the best. Kind Regards

We enjoyed learning new things and visiting new places. The biggest downer was the 15 hours day excursion. That was just too long and exhausting. Visiting Chichen Itza and the Cenote were fantastic!!! 15 hours -- too long and folks needed to be back in time to at least have dinner while food places were still open. The first and fourth stop could be eliminated. Learning about the Mayan culture and history was great, but it would be more appealing to shorten the trip and focus only on Chichen Itza and the Cenote. No alcholic beverage (beer only) was offered until the end of the trip for those of us who paid the extra. It would have been nice to have COLD water and an adult drink offered DURING the trip and not at the end.

Dear Customer, Thanks for sharing your own point of view of our experience. Indeed the trip is a full-day excursion since we travel to another state and different towns. Our average timing is 12 to 13 hours, Extension of the time spent depends on many factors, like traffic, weather, etc... It is important to consider that our main goal in this tour is to visit Chichen Itza. (That's why the name of this tour). The rest of the spots visited are a courtesy added to the experience. We understand that it might be shorter but we also have to be respectful regarding the Bio Safety Protocols that ask us to wait for other groups to empty the recreational places in order to let our travelers in, this way we all can enjoy and at the same time we take care of the most important which is you. ALCOHOLIC DRINKS ARE VARIATED AND COLD BOTTLED WATER IS GIVEN ALL THE TIME ON BOARD. You just need to ask for it to our guide or host. *If this wasn't the case let us know the details of your trip so we can check what happened and we promise this would never happen again. Kind regards!

Long time on the bus, but it did have a clean bathroom. Obligatory stop in Piste for shopping, then to Chichen Itza. Very overrun with people trying to sell you stuff inside the park. But the ruins are really fantastic. BRING YOUR OWN WATER because it is REALLY hot. There is a place to get water/coconut water at the Sacred Cenote. The ball court is epic. Our tour guide was really good, but I didn’t appreciate his comments about how people today are torturing kids for adrenachrome...really?!? Anyway, my six and eleven year olds did not appreciate the trip at all... but my husband and I liked the ruins. We all LOVED the cenote visit (Saamal) at the end. Lunch was good... but we had to pay for drinks (even the water!!!).

Dear Customer, CHICHEN ITZA TOUR from CANCUN and RIVIERA MAYA is well known as a "Full-day" tour. Time pass flying when our certified guides are onboard telling the most important facts about the Mayan Culture in a very interesting way. Stop in XOCENPICH IS NOT FOR SHOPPING and it can't be taken as MANDATORY since it is our first stop in our MAYAN VILLAGE "YAAX KIIN", there you are received by an authentic Mayan Shaman with a healing ceremony, then you will find our VISITOR EXCLUSIVE RESTAURANT, where you have our EXQUISITE REGIONAL FOOD BUFFET at the same time you enjoy of our folkloric ballet dance. Indeed the REGULAR TOUR package to Chichen Itza doesn't include drinks since it is the cheapest way you can go comfortable to the "Archaeological Site or Chichen Itza". We don't like to call it "ruins" since it was one of the most advanced ancient civilizations and their legacy and heritage is one of the greatest contributions that humanity has ever received. As in the restaurants, cinemas and other entertainment centers that serve food and beverages. One of our policies is not to bring drinks on board. That is precisely why we have packages that include unlimited drinks on board for a really fair cost. Or we have drinks available for sale on board and at the restaurant for $2 usd. bottled water is considered as a Drink and unfortunately is not included in the REGULAR PACKAGE. CENOTE WATER is a little cold but you get use to it once your swimming in its crystal healing waters. We do like when our customers appreciate the great value of the Mayan Culture. We are so sorry that you couldn't appreciate it like us and most of our visitors. Thanks for sharing Kind regards

We had a Tour with TourBaloon crew. Gill Soriano and Anna Vega gave us full support before our travel by WhatsApp. Jorge and Orlando were awesome during our journey, Jorge is a funny guy and made our trip super comfortable. Orlando was there all the time that we needed, not only for drinks. He even came up with a fruit salad to my fiancée when my wallet was in the bus, so kind! Chichen Itza it's beautiful and special place, we had incredible pictures there. But the cenote... So magical, was one of the best moments of this trip. We will definitely make another tour with them in the future!
