One of the most ornate and gorgeous churches I have ever been in. The amount of detail and how immense it is truly is breath taking.

We really enjoyed learning more about Oaxaca, the sad thing is they do not have translation in English or any other language. (Only in Spanish). So much to learn and appreciate if they had it in various languages. I am positive we missed the flavor...More

One of the best churches I have ever seen. A definite top ten in my book. You will be mesmerized. Go check it out.

Interior painted with natural dyes. Check to see if a concert is scheduled - there is an extraordinary pipe organ. A peaceful setting with views that are spectacular.

This is the largest church I've been in outside of Rome. The inside is stunning. So many frescos, gold laiden walls, statues, and beautifully decorated walls. It is a must see during your stay here.

This church is amazing. One of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever been in and I’ve been in many. This is a must see in Oaxaca. The gift shop has beautiful items as well.

The interior of this opulent church is something to see. If you are a fan of colonial churches and cathedrals, then you will want to spend some time here. I would strongly recommend hiring a guide to really appreciate what makes this church unique.

No lo recuerdo ver algo. Como es un monumento antiguo, dudo mucho que haya. Estoy tratando de recordar de fuera, ni hay rampa, creo!

The best guide ever is Omar Lescas Diaz. His English is wonderful and he knows "all" the history of the area. It may not be worth his while to do one building like this. He is excellent for Monte Alban and the natural tour... More
