The ceiling at the entrance (Tree of life?) is very ornate and eye-catching. Love the restoration being done on the side altar and the communion rail has some interesting features (esp. the parrot)

The museum is very well done. They had just reopened the exhibition of artifacts from Monte Alban Tomb 7, which was just amazing. They've done an excellent job of using modern display techniques in a building that must be 500 or so years old. Well...More

voted one of the two most beautiful churches in all of Mexico. so much restoration and improvement has been done that it is not original, but that does not detract from the overall experience.

Santo Domingo is so beautiful, we visited it twice. The altar, the side altars, the entryway--all are awe inspiring. It is on a beautiful square that is often the center of celebrations--we saw several parades and a fancy wedding with dancers and puppets. The museum...More

The light shining through the beautiful windows illuminated the extensive gold work. This Church is well worth a visit, even though it requires quite a long walk

No lo recuerdo ver algo. Como es un monumento antiguo, dudo mucho que haya. Estoy tratando de recordar de fuera, ni hay rampa, creo!
