Ok trip to phi phi. Water very calm so ride was ok (just little bumpy). If waters are not calm defo give this a miss in a speedboat. Tour guide came across as patronising.

We had on 26th Nov 2019 all speedboat all day trip to Phi Phi Islands and the trip wasnt as was described while we booked and paid the trip. The trip organizer was called SEA EAGLE TOUR. In the written description of the trip it was said we would be visiting Viking Cave and see lots of cave paintings and thousands of seallows. This didnt happened. The boat stopped in the front of the cave and we saw there signs which looked like the cave was closed. Also in the written description of the trip it was said we would be walking and swimming in the Maya Beach. This didnt happen either as the beach was closed. The lunch served was disaster- all food, ment to be warm, was cold. My husband is 70 years old and fit and agile for his age . As the boats both of two swimming stars were broken? Or there were only 2 stairs in the right side of the boat ( and 1 stair on the left side of the boat) he almost couldnt get back to the boat from the sea. This is why he couldnt join others into sea in the snorkling spot, which was the highlight of the all trip. In addition our pick up transportation from the beach to the hotel wasnt ready. Even as trip organizer you should have known when we returned back from the boat trip. The wind was quite rough and waves high and when the speed boat still cruising full speed (ca 35- 40 knots) made the boat trip far from enjoyable. We fully understand some attractions may be under construction or even closed, but this is when you dont sell these trips in the way they’d include these attractions. When advertising English speaking tour guides perhaps it is over estimated; our guide spoke some English and she was friendly. However, if would have needed to know something more, fe case of emergency, I would say the guide wouldnt have made it clear to Non-Thai speakers. The whole trip was pure cheating and huge disappointment. Would rather have spent our day in the beautiful and enjoyable Krabi Resort where we are staying.…

We went to Phi Phi Island from Ao Nang today with this company. We did not like it at all and after that we can say that this kind of trip is just for companies to make money. We did not enjoy it, why? 1) first of all before entering to the boat they did NOT inform about possible bad weather conditions on the sea. In moment of departure it was nice. In the middle of the sea it started to rain and sea was very rough. 40 people on the boat, huge speed, the boat hitting the waves wiht a terrifying noises - it was horrible! 2) the boat stopped in monkey beach and maya bay for 1 min - we were already feeling so bad (dizzy, tired and scared) that we were simply not able to walk on the top of the boat to see it and take pictures. Seasickness was the worst when boat was approaching the stop point and turned off the engine. People were vomiting to plastic bags. Me, almost too. I really regret I did not read these opinions before. I think we had a lot of chance that nothing really bad happened to us on this trip. We felt exhausted after coming back to hotel. If you like extreme and risky situations with a lot of adrenaline this is for you. For other - I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Waste of money. Instead, I recommend go calmly to Railay beach 10min from Ao Nang by long boat, much better and safer experience.…

They didn't check the batteries for the engine before we left and we were delayed in the sea for 1hour trying to get that fixeda and few other stops too. So had to rush, cut time and leave out 1 or 2 destination. Suggest to have bags for passengers if they need to vomit and also please use a loud hailer or some form of audio aid for announcements. The ones at the back of the boat literally could not hear what the guide was saying and had to tell him and thereafter he had to do 2 announcement at the front and back which is a waste of time. Everyone pays for the Marine Park fee which is 400Baht per person but no receipts or tickets given for this. Some say the Marine Park fee paid is valid for 3 Days which am not able to verify since no write up available. Apart from the the delay in getting the batteries fixed, the entire experience was enjoyable.…

Took the tour for the 4 islands with a speed boat. Cost us 1000 plus 400 for the national park per person. Since it was low season we had no problems with crowds or overcrowded boat etc. They picked us up at 9:15 am from our hotel and then took us with a bunch of others getting on individualized boats with 10 people in our boat. *Really glad we got the speedboat because it’s very quick and less choppy, long tail boats are TERRIBLE. Make a really loud sound the entire time and go much slower. We went on one before and I had a headache for a while just from it* So we got there quick but the WHOLE time they rushed us, honestly we didn’t have a chance to enjoy the beaches. Got there at 9:45 at Rai Ley left at 10:30, we couldn’t even get on the shores of Chicken beach because of the high tide and so we snorkeled but the snorkeling is really bad, there’s no fish. did really terrible snorkeling nearby there. Then we went to my favorite stop Poda Island it’s the national park and we were there for only an hour and for those that love warm calm and clean waters to swim one hour is not enough. We had a lunch there but it was pretty basic rice and chicken with vegetable stew and watermelon, not complaint about that. Then they took us to the last island and we got there at 12:45 they wanted us on the boat and gone at 1:45! The person that booked the tour for us said 3:45. Basically we left at 1:45 and we got back to Aonang at 2pm. I couldn’t believe how short the trip was and honestly that money is not worth it. It’s like 44 US dollars per person. So beware. *Make sure if you book a tour to ask how long it will be and exact itinerary. I would not have booked if I knew that they were going to rush us and we would be done at 2pm. Pros - the people were friendly and spoke a little English. The guy took photos of people unasked. …
