Great picnic spot 45 mins north of Lugano

Faido has good walks and a wonderful place to spend the day with the family. There is a little castle, play area, shops, BBQ pits, a waterfall, swimming holes in the river, lots of grass. It is a quiet spot in a beautiful area. Well worth the drive from Lugano. For BBQ spots under trees follow the bridge over the river, turn right and re-cross the river at the waterfall.
