Amazing views and worth a few hours.
We took a scenic route down the coast over the hills to get here . Breathtaking and worth the trip.
Not a full day unless you take towels and pitch up on the beach BUT teenage kids thought was an incredible place

Legit, this entire trip has been been on deceit and disaster after another. We are treated like crap, lied to consistently and then treated differently than white tourist. My family is from here and I’ve never been. Was so happy to bring my kids finally. I’ll never be back to this island.

But this one ☝🏾 spot was good with food, scenery, and we even caught a surf competition.

We were visiting other places and took a detour to see the Atlantic. Did not regret it at all. Stunning and so different from the rest of the island. Quiet and lovely to take a walk along the beach watching the surfers and waves.

If a memorable trip to the Caribbean is on your agenda, then do as we do, taking great care in choosing the right island! Barbados ticks all the requisites for us: Safe Island... Wonderful People…. Good Food... and of course... when we vacation in the Caribbean, we always look for an "authentic" local ambiance and charm, a tropical atmosphere of remoteness & ruggedness, quiet secluded uncrowded beaches and beautiful tropical flora/fauna that contribute to a "Robinson Crusoe" destination. In Barbados, you can be as active (or not) as you desire.

No visit to Barbados can end without a stop at the Soup Bowl in Bathsheba. It is gorgeous and presents a truly awe-inspiring glimpse of the captivating Barbadian coastline. This is where you can "overlook" the wild Atlantic crashing against the rugged east coast of the island, showcasing some of its finest natural gems, the battered shaped rock formations that make this area remarkable and unique.

An absolute must when touring the island superb. You can't swim as the rip is very dangerous but its a great place to take some photos and get away from the tourist side of the island.

The town is small but very well maintained and the unusual rock formations are quite striking.

We drove here in our rental car and saw surfers in the water catching the waves.

We decided to have lunch at the RoundHouse and enjoyes it overlooking the beautiful view of the ocean. Prices were decent.

When you first hit the coast road, from Cherry Hill, its quite a moment, the smell of the sea, the wildness and the vastness. The area behind the sea is also beautiful, its known as Scotland. The only sadness was, compared to 2017, the litter. Whether this is cruise ships or just general carelessness I don't know but it was very sad to see the shoreline so abused.
