I did Vicrory for the first time in 1968 & it is just as Magnificent Today. Beautiful Coral,Huge Lobsters, Sharks & Groupers. Drift Dive is the way to go.

Bimini has a wide variety of fishes. Many small uninhabited islands. Many black tip sharks, white tip sharks, and hammerheads.

This is a dive site that runs from about 45' to 80' and is best for drift diving.
Tons of fish and you'll find Turtles, Lobsters (to deep to catch since you can only take them while snorkeling), and a shark or two. Big recommendation is to drop off at the Southern Victory location and drift into the Northern end but even if you go by it, its still a good dive. I videotaped divers from the surface that were 60 feet down and it was very clear.

It had been twenty years since I had been on Victory Reef. Didn't know what to expect after so many years, however, we spend two days drift diving the reef, which looked to be very healthy. Even on drift dives, the reef seemed to go on forever and was beautiful

If you can get there - tall reef, lots of fish but also lots of sharks who will cruise the reef with you, yes, with you. They don't pay a lot of attention to the divers so close encounters with a camera are easy.

Expected sharks - and I am convinced they are around, but overall this stretch of reef is really quite beautiful. Best diversity of sealife and regardless of shark shortfall, it was worth the extended trip to get there.
