We reserved our spots months in advance, but about a week before, we got a call that the catamaran has been dry docked and was not
going to be water ready. They offered us a date in January, but we were not going to still be in town, so they found us a spot on an East Island Tours boat. Unfortunately, that boat was departing an hour earlier, which led to us having to switch our car rental pick up time and send half of us on the shuttle (which we had to call, reserve, and pay for through EIT). During our layover on the trip to PR, we got another message that the weather conditions might lead to cancellation, and asking if we wanted to reschedule, again for a date later than we would be in PR. We declined and were told there was a 60% chance the trip would be cancelled in the morning, but they’d let us know. We didn’t hear anything, and when we called in the morning, no one answered. So we went to the dock, and were able to
go out, albeit on a different type of
Boat. The trip itself was awesome, but that should really be in a different review, since it was not Castillo’s boat or crew. I do appreciate them getting us on another boat.
