This was a $40US tour form our resort in Punta Cana. The place is in need of a little TLC to bring it back to what it looks like it once was. Having said that the price was reasonable compared to other excursions. The cave...More

We had a great time on this tour. The cave and history of the island were very interested and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Tasting rum afterwards was fabulous too and the hand-painted bottles made very nice souvenirs to bring home

The cave tour was pretty interesting, even though our guide's accent made it difficult to understand without intense concentration. We found out that Christopher Columbus was not a man to be venerated. The rum factory was really a room where painters decorated bottles, which were...More

The Taino cave tour was very interesting. Batista spoke English and was very understandable. It was a nice history lesson on Columbus from a more local, impacted perspective. The cave was stunning but a little kitschy with some of the 'ruins' but interesting none-the-less. I...More

We greatly enjoyed the cave tour! There were a ton of bats hanging around and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The rum was delicious (generous pours) and the painter added our names and date to the ones we purchased. Would highly recommend, particularly for...More

I wore casual clothes and sandals. I would recommend wearing running shoes, due to the uneven ground in the cave.
