We recently had some engagement photos done here and the beach was absolutely beautiful! Yellow sand beach with rows and rows of palm trees. Its one of the last local hot spots but unfortunately, there is a new resort being built right behind it. There...More

Beautiful unspoint beach (although a major hotel is currently being built there now). Water fairly shallow, but strong and sometimes high waves - great for surfing and body boarding. Stalls on the beach selling food and drinks.

There was seaweed everywhere and the beach just seemed really crowded. We didn't stay long at all. Could've passed on this part of the excursion

As soon as you get there, you're harassed by hustlers and vendors. They'll take pictures of you with animals, then demand cash.

Excellent beach, not yet commercialized. Excellent sand and turquoise water. A few "hut shops" of souvenirs, jewelry, etc. Be careful of the cheap stuff. Well worth the stop to see and surf a little.

A really beautiful beach with golden sand and a warm sea. I'm not a huge surfer but I would guess the break is ok for learning and intermediate surfers but wouldn't provide much to experienced surfers. All up a great afternoon

Nice white sand protected by a point so no seaweed in area. About a kilometer of beach at least 50 meters wide. The beach that locals frequent however resorts are being built so that will end the local access. Too bad! Has the usual salespeople...More

We stayed at the Royalton Bavaro about 15 mins from Macao. I didn’t see any resorts in Macao. Royalton Bavaro was excellent.
