A brief stop off as part of an excision

We were only here briefly as part of a buggy trip. Huge waves which my sons loved.. Sand was nice and soft too. The surround of the beach was messy thanks to visitors not cleaning up behind themselves.

Public Beach

We travelled to Macao Beach as part of a tour. It is beautiful with it's long stretch of white sand, and turquoise water. I didn't notice any restaurants or bars locally on the beach so go prepared with your own.

Amazing beach

This is an amazing beach. There was a few little stalls and they do ask you to look at their goods but when you say no they take that. There was some people trying to get you go have a photo with parrots but I read the reviews and didn’t fall into that trap of needing to pay for…

The restaurant on the beach

Don’t go here if you’re a tourist! The food was decent but no price was given to us and then they wouldn’t let us leave until we paid $85 American for two fish plates and two beers. Is a scam PLEASE BEWARE

Be aware of aggressive locals

We went on a buggy excursion which was AMAZING! Only downside to it was when we visited this beach and had the locals swarm us. The man w/ the monkey was VERY aggressive. After we said no - he put his monkey on us and took our phones and started taking photos, which we insisted…
