The tour in total was beautiful and the agents that accompanied us were professional and attentive, it rained in torrents on the passage from the bus to the boat, soon after in the open sea the sun returned. The island of Samaná is beautiful and Bacardi beach a real paradise.
The experience with the horses is degrading because of the way the animals are treated and the conditions to which they are subjected, as well as the children who accompany the horses, it is heartbreaking. This whole journey is tiring and dangerous because the terrain is muddy and full of flints, any distraction and a tumble of the horse can be very serious and dangerous.
The waterfall is nothing special, it doesn't do justice to the photos... very messy, muddy and nothing that we don't have much more beautiful in our country.
Missed the visit to the farm to see the agricultural productions, cocoa, coffee etc. But good thing it was because after returning from the waterfall and doing the whole route again, we were exhausted. The day ended at 8:30pm at the hotel after 13h of in and out of buses and boats, exhausted, muddy and very dirty.
I don't recommend it at all to people with health problems and out of question children.
In summary it is an expensive tour, apparently, but involves a lot of logistics and in my humble opinion not worth it, to see Samaná and a beautiful beach the value is high, but I believe that necessary to pay all the agents and resources involved.
