A 1 hour drive from Constanza and 17km of rough dirt road, 4wd vehicle a must, but only a 5 min walk to the falls. I went in late sept on a sunny day. Try to arrive by 12 noon as the lower falls and pool, only has sun from 10am to 2pm (because it is in a canyon). Do bring a change of cloths, towel, drinks and some food. Also bring toilet paper as the restrooms are a mess. There are 2 waterfalls upper and lower. I only seen the lower waterfalls. Very cold water, low 50's F. Thank God this is in a National Forest.…

Bring water shoes if you want to take a dip or get your feet wet as it's rocky along the edges. One thing I regret is not bringing along toys, coloring books, notebooks, pens, pencils for the local children you see on the side of the road. They seem content with life but they live so remotely from the city that it must be hard to get supplies up there.…

This is in the national park Valle Nuevo, a lot of mountains to get there. The waters are really cold, and it is an amazing place. Amazing view.
