This was definitely a tough hike but very pretty scenery. The falls were well worth it. Would recommend for sure.

Plan to spend at least 2 hours, more if you rest frequently. The trail includes climbing over rocks and across streams as well as flat broad areas of path with gentle, moderate and very sterp inclines. It is varied enough to where you can catch...More

The way to the falls was tough, but totally worth it. We’re in decent shape and it had us breathing heavier at times. It was rocky and a little slippery with a few crossings in some water, but we took our time and did just...More

This is a beautiful, steep, rocky hike that is very challenging when ice is present. It snowed about 3 inches the night before and the trail was breathtaking. Trekking poles are a must when ice is present. I would have given anything for yaktrax! I...More

We are healthy adults, not professional hikers. The day that we went it was snowing a bit. Amateurs that we are, Nikes, no walking sticks, just looking for a walk in the woods. We didn't make it all the way to the falls, our twenty...More

We hiked to the top of the falls and it was fierce! The trail is very well maintained and marked but it is not for someone expecting an easy stroll. It’s the equivalent of 60 flights of stairs to the top (according to Fitbit). There...More

This hike was a little more difficult then I expected. The snow had melted making it muddy. Be sure to wear the proper hiking footwear. It’s a beautiful hike. We saw four deer and they came within 10 feet of us. Worth the hike.

My wife and I hiked the trail for the first time on January 24th. It was sad to see the damage the fire did to the forest last year. It was still a beautiful 2.6 mile hike. We were wondering what strenuous was going to...More

Beautiful hike with beautiful scenery but be aware you ascend 1500 feet in 2 miles. We are in good shape & this was a challenge. Please respect their advice & wear boots on this hike. Do not wear tennis shoes or sandals. You will not...More

This trail starts out along a creek but then diverges into the forest with lots of switchbacks. I was just there about 3 or 4 months ago and it was our 2nd time to the falls. The first time we took the hike our youngest... More
