It's a nice drive close to Gatlinburg. We saw a baby bear near the beginning of the drive, which was really amazing. It was so close by, and then crossed the road right behind our car. Other than that, the drive is quiet and really...More

This is nice nature loop that is closer to town and doesnt take as long. We went early in the morning and hiked the 1.4 miles back to grotto falls. I would not recommend taking young children back to the falls as the hike is...More

This is a nice scenic drive with some interesting pull offs and places to explore a little. We went close to dark and hike a trail so wound up driving out in the dark. Leave plenty of time to enjoy the sights.

Pull off from that highway ans stop and relax at numerous pull-offs! Great nature walk and sight seeing area for falls and wild life! Free fun and walking/hiking areas! Great place for a picnic!

This drive is so pretty. The road follows water on either side of the road. The only downfalll is people parking along the road at the different falls making it hard to pass.

Rippling streams, waterfalls, lots of wildlife and remains of early inhabitants homes and farms. All in a short drive just outside Gatlinburg. Quite a contrast to the glitz of Pigeon Forge's Parkway!

Pretty sure, but it’s a driving tour with few stops and some bears. I’d be careful of that.

We did it see damage last October to the trail. After you exit the trail a number of buildings we’re either being rebuilt or repaired.
