Often see wildlife while driving through Cade’s Cove. This time we saw ferrel hogs. Other times we’ve seen deer, wild turkey and a fox. Other people have seen bears, but we haven’t seen them in Cade’s Cove. Years ago we hiked to Abrams Falls. It’s...More

It is a good difficult hike of about 2.5 miles each way to the fall Takes about 3 to four hours It is strenuous but once you reach the Falls you get disappointed Enjoy the hike but don't expect too much in a water fall

Abrams Falls Trail certainly has some ascents and descents, and it is far from a paved trail. It took my wife, two children (9&11 yrs old) about 75 minutes to hike to the falls, and the same heading back to the parking lot. But however...More

This is a 2.5 mile hike to the falls where you can cool off and swim before you hike 2.5 miles back. It is a moderately difficult hike. Be sure to bring water and snacks!

This hike tool us about 3 hours or so to go to the falls and back. The trail says it's strenuous but I didn't think it was that bad. The terrain goes up and down a lot and there are rocks and tree roots everywhere....More
