Words and photos don’t do this place justice. Breathtakingly beautiful. Mother Nature is pretty amazing. This might be more wonderful than Grand Canyon.

Grand view point is the beginning of a trail along the top of the canyon. It is fairly easy. The views are unbelievable. Forget the Grand Canyon! It is in the Island in the sky section of Canyonlands National Park. It is about 2 miles...More

It is a long drive to get there so I would recommend staying in Moab and enjoying Arches NP for a longer period of time.

We did enjoy the drive the the viewpoint with so many perfect view-stops on the way. Very good descriptions regarding the geology and the history of the NP. Almost as nice as the Grand Canyon.
