Just before the castle you can visit a corkscrew museum, it is a small place with very good collection of corkscrew. In the shop, you can find cool and special gadgets for wine. Worth a visit

It’s a real scam: 4€ entrance fee for 4 square meters where you will spend no longer than 4 minutes.

I am a Corkscrew colector myself and I found this little place very interesting. The local shop also helps me to improve my collection. They sell some old fashion as well as modern marvelous pieces.

In Barolo, what better place for a corkscrew museum? Pay your admission, browse threw the wines and wine items, and then enter. They take you thru a self guided tour with many explanations and visual aspects of the history of the corkscrew. Many on display.

Amazing collection of corkscrews - but also hosted inside a great wine store. The corkscrews are well displayed, and also include some nice additional surprises, like old post cards, or a collection of 100 grappa bottles from Levi - a real treat. It will only...More

We visited the corkscrew museum on a whim. It was really worth it! Lots of interesting corkscrews and lots of interesting items about their history and social development. If you are in or near Barolo, it is worth a short visit.
