去過週六夜市就會發現一切都似曾相識。 週日夜市從塔佩門一路延伸至帕邢寺,幾乎貫穿整個清邁古城,還往南北延伸多條分支。但其實很多攤位都買著一樣的東西:一樣的木雕、一樣的衣服、一樣的燈飾,盡是一些工廠大量製造的產品,去淘寶上說不定可以批到一樣的貨。 不推薦大家來這吃晚餐,因為食物的攤位少得可憐。即便有也很難吃,完全是在污辱清邁小吃。 對於本來就有夜市文化的台灣人而言,這裡根本稱不上是清邁必去景點;For those who haven't been to night markets ever before, this might be a good chance to experience the atmosphere (not the food).

They start packing up around 11pm yes, but that makes it an ideal time to get a last good bargain with one of the stall owners

Since it is a "night" market I think it won't be open in the early afternoon. On the other hand, if you go before it opens there also won't be any crowds either.
