We visited Lake Eacham early in the morning. Lots of animal and birdlife around. Returned in the evening to watch a beautiful sunset over the lake. Great area for picnics, walking and relaxing.

Visited Lake Eachem as part of the Barefoot Tours of the Tablelands. The lake is located in the crater of a long extinct volcano. Car park and BBQ facilities are provided, swimming was great and lots of other people were kayaking and paddle boarding.

This is bit of a drive from other main attractions, it is best get their on nice day and spend some relaxing time. There warning of Crocodiles, but plenty of keen swimmers.
