The Great Otway National Park stretches from Torquay through to Princetown and up through the Otways hinterland towards Colac. The park features rugged coastlines, sandy beaches, rock platforms and windswept heathland. In the north, the park features tall forests, ferny gullies, magnificent waterfalls and tranquil lakes. The Great Otway National park offers a variety of activities to suit all types of visitors. Visit for the day to take in one of the many short walks and spectacular scenery, or plan a longer stay at one of the campgrounds to relax and soak up your surrounds. Launch a kayak on the Aire River for a unique perspective on this stunning landscape. The Great Otway National Park and Otway Forest Park are south of Melbourne via Geelong or Colac. From the west, approach via Port Campbell along the Great Ocean Road. A daily bus service between Geelong, Lorne and Apollo Bay connects with train services to Melbourne.

It’s a very scenic view from the lighthouse. Learnt a lot from the guide about the aboriginals. Very nice way to spend the morning.

Simply allow yourself time to explore without any rush and you'll really enjoy the connections you can make with nature. Try it, unplug and go old school... The trails are very well maintained, signs explain what you want to know.

This is a beautiful section on the Great Ocean Drive. We drove through and did not leave our vehicle. The scenery is stunning, the roads are well-maintained, and it is a drive you will not forget.

There is no fee to enter the National Park that I saw, just a lot of stopping places along the coast. However, there will be a cost for food and accommodation if stopping in the area for the night.
