The palace and gardens are stunning. A must see while in St. Petersburg. The fountains and the story about no pumps are unbelievable.

The palace itself is beautiful and the fountains are wonderful. The grounds are immaculate. There is a lot of history still inside the palace. It was very crowded the day that we went so get there early.

Very well maintained garden and museum. We joined a tour and it takes 45 min from downtown to here. We spent an hour and half to walk along the fountain.

The palace tour is lovely-especially if you go early enough to beat the crowds. However in the summer the lower gardens are not to be missed. The fountains and cascade are amazing. The central figure shows Peter defeating a lion -the national symbol of Sweden.
