Nice museum
Sep 2020
Small but very interesting museum where you can spend a surprising amount of time! It has plenty of parking space and is very cheap. Worth visiting together with the temple of Artemis if you are in the area.

This quaint , three room museum was the perfect introduction to visiting the Archaeological site of Brauron. It contains ancient antiquities from the Temple of Artemis . Perfect size to get children engaged.

There's not much left at the archaeological site of Brauron but the site museum is very good. The exhibit features a good collection of pottery and sculpture, all excavated at the site.

Magic travel back to the past of ancient Greece
Nov 2019 • Family
An amazing scenery of temple of Artemis (Diana) and a small museum with many artifacts and pieces of art. You really travel back in time.
The ticket is 6€ and for kids was free entrance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were detailed descriptions in both english and Greek.
Just take some water or snacks with you cause there is nothing nearby to buy.

Impressive archeological collection in Vravrona.
Oct 2019
This is a wonderful, well-organized Museum in Vravrona. It is “user-friendly” with all the exhibits located on one floor and, also, handicap accessible.

We have been to this Museum many times and always enjoy visiting again on our annual trips to Porto Rafti. We enjoy seeing the sculptures, pottery and artifacts and always learn something new about the ancient civilization that populated the Vravrona area.

The staff is courteous, well-informed, and helpful.

Near to the Artemis Temple with a large collection of finds
Apr 2019
Out of the beaten track but nested in nature before the beach of Chamolia.
There are very intersting finds as geometric pottery, archaic and classical pottery and minor objects (votive offerings from the sanctuary of Artemis), collections of sculptures (statues, reliefs) from the sanctuary of Artemis and votive and funerary reliefs of the Classical period, found in the region of Mesogeia.
The most important items of the exhibition are:
• Stirrup jar from the cementery of Perati. It depicts octopiand fishes among close style decoration. Docted to late Helladic IIIc period (1200 - 1000 B.C.).
• Votive relief to Artemis. The goddess is represented seated with a deer, welcoming the pilgrims. The relief was found in the sanctuary and dates to the 4th century B.C.

Small but interesting place
Jun 2018 • Family
Visited here with my wife and our 7y. son.
Very well kept place and surprisingly wide collection. Though the temple of Artemis is a main reason we went here the museum has also many interesting displays from neolithic era to temples flourishing times. Our son found a piece of pottery on the road and he insisted that it should be given to museum staff, they were very nice and thanked him.
