The market, which was born on Valentine's Day 1985 with five stalls which eventually have given way to the more than 300 stalls that Las Dalias currently boasts. On Saturdays in August, Las Dalias can attract around 20,000 visitors. Opening hours: the Saturday market is open all year round, from April to October from 10 am to 8 pm and from November to March from 10 am to 6 pm.

Avoid the bar
Sep 2020
Always worth a visit when you are in Ibiza because there are stalls you won't find anywhere else. However, avoid the bar as 4.50 euros for a small draught estrella is a rip off. Like the market but not the bar. Avoid.

Nice hippy market
Aug 2020
Nice to visit. A great variety of things at reasonable prices and a nice experience.

The older man giving directions for a parking spot is very rude and shouting and cursing!! Not a nice arrival :(

Also very crowded in this Corona times, difficult to keep distance

Hi there Alex, We are very sorry about the old man, you need to know that parking area is private. Next time you better park in our official parking area! About the crowd and Corona situation, we take it very serious, you can check all the actions we take in our website LASDALIAS.ES / NEWS. Regards,

Las Dalias Cafe. Superb food - superb value
Nov 2019
As a founder member of the Ibiza Vinyl Club we had a booking at the Las Dalias Cafe on Thursday. As part of the package for DJs was a meal & drinks. What a revelation! Food outlets within the market itself are a bit hit and miss, but this all year round cafe is superb. Every dish was so tasty and, by Ibiza standards, so cheap! Highly recommended.

Worth the visit at many levels
Sep 2019
This is an incredibly large market of crafts. We would have given it 4 stars, if it wasn't for the history. Hippys are an integral part of Ibiza's history and this market was central to it. We learnt a lot about Ibiza0s history by learning about this market, and we say some true hippys of all ages there. Hence the 5 star rating.

Fantastic market, food let it down
Sep 2019 • Couples
Visited the hippy market while staying at nearby Calla Nova beach. What a great experience! So buzzy and had a fun atmosphere. Lots of stalls selling interesting goods, as well as various musicians playing on guitars and singing. Felt very hippy and authentic. Also felt safe. Open 7pm-1am, so a nice way to spend an evening.

Would have given it five stars, however it was let down by the lack of food choices for such a huge market. There only seemed to be one food van with limited options, a pizza stall, and then a restaurant in the middle of the market. We went for the restaurant, and it was a big mistake. The menu was limited, and a random mix of food. My main of steak and french fries (which were actually wedges) was inedible and a complete waste of €23 euro. The meat was tough and chewy, the wedges dry, and with a small pot of tasteless sauce on the side. After complaining, and having several different staff members come over who we kept having to explain the problem to (in front of other diners) - thankfully the steak main was taken off the bill. However it soured our experience of the market. I think this restaurant believes it has a captive market as there are no other food choices, and doesn’t make an effort.

My advice would be to definitely visit the market, but eat before you go!

This is a must visit when in Ibiza
Aug 2019
We have been back twice now and every year I seem to escape for more and more hours, the music, the people, the mojitos (always have one too many of those).
We visit early afternoon until dusk, and spend hours sat at the bottom bar drinking and just taking in life. Have a wander round the stalls, grab a slice of pizza, more mojitos and then do it all again.
Things to remember… the loos are by the entrance in the main building, nice and clean.
Head towards the bottom area for the best pizza, mojitos and music.
Bring plenty of cash and haggle.
Enjoy the moment.

The hippy market..it was ok. Very hot and busy. A little tip, get a cab there (5€) otherwise you are sweltering before you go in there. It’s a 20 min walk from Es Cana. Once you have seen the first ten stalls, you’ve seen it all as they all sell the same stuff. It’s an experience though, so it’s nice to go.

Really rather good !

Visited the market with my family for a little bit of retail therapy on a Saturday morning. Got there by taxi (from the edge of Santa Eulialia it was only 13 euros) and spend a happy 2 hours wandering around the myriad of stalls. Glad to have got there early as it started getting busy but the shopping was fun, some genuinely good and different things to buy and all regarded it as a good way of spending a few hours. Suggest you take water with you - the cafes there are nice but pricy.

Excellent Saturday market
Jul 2019 • Couples
We got the bus from Santa Eulalia up to Sant Carlos on Saturday and after spending time there walked back (10mins) down to the market.
Wonderful experience it’s a must.
Wasn’t too crazy and lots of shade as you walk around in the heat.
Loads of different stalls from jewellery, clothes to lovely gifts.
A few places within the market to eat and drink.
Bus stop is directly outside the market.
