Arrivando dalla grande piazza si può osservare una facciata moderna, semplice e non troppo interessante mentre prendendo una stradina pedonale che corre sul lato della chiesa si può ammirare uno scorcio di passato con spesse mura quasi a difesa del piccolo cimitero.

Situata in una piacevole zona a ridosso del centro, la chiesa è tenuta con molta cura. Essenziale e, come altro recensore ha scritto, moderna elemento che a me piace. Ho partecipato alla messa del tardo pomeriggio. Durante la funzione curioso e piacevole l'accompagnamento dell'organo da due corni in un ottima unione musicale. La funzione è stata officiata in gran parte in lingua tedesca a discapito del molti villeggianti presenti che rappresentavano la maggioranza del fedeli.Facilmente capibile dalle poche risposte concesse alla lingua italiana.

E' la Chiesa parrocchiale della cittadina; la sua costruzione iniziò nel 1937, venne consacrata nel 1954, ma definitivamente realizzata solo nel 1968. La sua struttura ricorda una nave, presentando un interno che sembra una carena di nave capovolta, per un'evidente allusione all'Arca di Noè (che tra i flutti del Diluvio Universale offrì la salvezza ai suoi ospiti; qui si ricorda che solo Cristo offre la salvezza). L'arredo è semplice, minimalista e moderno: nessun Altare, solo una mensa in legno, e delle semplici panche, nell'Abside coronata da arco di trionfo. Come purtroppo spesso accade nelle Chiese moderne...totalmente priva di fascino.

Bella la visuale dall'esterno, con dietro le montagne delle Sciliar.
Bello anche il mini campanile situato appena dietro la chiesa.
L'interno con soffitto in legno e semplice.

Abbiamo partecipato alle messa serale del sabato e con sorpresa era officiata in tre lingue. Quasi tutta in italiano un po di tedesco e una spolveratina di latino. la chiesa è modesta ma assai frequentata dai villeggianti, caratteristica per il soffitto a botte in legno.

Wer auf dem Rückweg aus Italien noch einen Abstecher ohne Autobahn machen möchte, der sollte den Umweg über Seis und Kastelruth nehmen.
Das Panorama des "Rosengartens" aus dieser Perspektive ist einzigartig.

Bella chiesa moderna che esternamente richiama forme neoromaniche in una suggestiva ambientazione pseudoantica e all'interno si esprime con un'unica e luminosa aula rettangolare con soffitto a botte rivestito in legno, abside semplice e spoglia quasi "paleocristiana" come i sobri arredi ridotti all'essenziale.
Iniziata nel 1937 su progetto dell'architetto Marius Amonn, consacrata nel 1954 ma ultimata solo nel 1968, la chiesa è situata in bellissimo contesto ambientale con il quale appare ben intonata.

Die Kirche Heilig Kreuz in Seis wirkt von auĂźen wie eine normale Kirche, im inneren stellt sie sich jedoch als sehr moderne Kirche dar.
Sie hat mir jedoch sehr gut gefallen, ich finde sie ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
