A relatively quiet place, aesthetically pleasing project with great views.

Supposedly this site was previously just coverered in rubbish but the man who's taken it on from the good of his heart has transformed it with native, useful species.
It's some educational (mostly if you speak Spanish, or have a translator), and is quite attractive too with a couple low-impact design buildings.
I hope he gets some help in managing the land.
There's a website for it too, the relation between which and the actual work happening could be made clearer, I think...

These need to be made in many more places!!!

Hidden away the the very top of Barichara, this bioparque was a welcome surprise when we stumbled upon it. This free-to-enter Park consists of winding dirt paths lined with stones that allow a you to meander your way through areas of different fauna, cloaking a few different species of birds. At the top of then park you can get great views of the canyon below. If you are in Barichara, walk the hill to the top of the town and follow the path to the left of the small Church. Keep following the path to the left of the public piscina and you will find a very discrete entrance to this park. I am giving it 5/5 as we hadn’t heard anything about it and was a nice way to spend 45 minutes surrounded by beautiful views of nature and town of Barichara as well.
