I visited this brick church by taxi tour. This is the 3rd church built in this site and a national important cultural property. Stained glasses were especially beautiful. It is a pity that this church was excluded from the list of World Heritage due to the repair of its parking site. I thought this and Kashiragashima church were must-sees in this island. Open 9:00-17:00. Offerings are welcomed. Try not to enter with your shoes on.

Aosagaura Church was built in 1878 with St. Michael as its patron saint. Free Wi-Fi is available at the church complete instructions on how to download a video history of the church to accompany your visit. I attended a children's mass on the Thursday I visited, at 1730hrs.
