We had a day between pow days and decided to go to Hakuba Heat instead of playing cards in the lodge.... Good call! This place is crazy good! Situated in an old hotel, the playing field is huge and varied. From the basement up to the bar, bedrooms, bathrooms, plant rooms and stairways, there is so much ground to cover and plenty of places to hide and ambush the enemy! In summer I believe that the field is extended even further outside the building which would be even more awesome. We rolled in as a group of 6 and there happened to be another group of 6 waiting so we formed two teams and played with some new friends. We played for around 2hrs by which time we were all pretty tired and sweaty, and had gotten to settle some old scores with our mates. The equipment supplied is good, face masks were clean and in good condition. The guns were awesome, very realistic and worked very well. The playing field is rugged so wear decent shoes If you get a spare day in Hakuba, do yourself a favour and go play Airsoft at Hakuba Heat. It's the most fun you will have without your ski pants on! P.S don't do what I did and wear a red flannel shirt to play, pretty easy target in that colour.…
