Great trip for 12 year old boys birthday,what a giggle!
Both boys had a fab time, made better by the fact they could both go round at the same time (thank you)
To note, (not a negative) if your booking for up to 4 people, you share a single tank for the hour. We were offered 2 tanks for 30 mins each for the boys which made there day.
Defo recommend for the experience, the boys didnt stop grinning for the whole time they were there

My 9 year old son and 5 of his friends had an awesome time yesterday! The instructors made the experience very safe and built up the boys confidence with their patient instructions and guidance. The course was through a wooded area and the boys loved having full control of the tank and had several laps round the course each. I would highly recommend and my husband loved it too!

The Tank Experience. Really good place to take our grandson who is 10 years old. He loved it. The tank he drove was powered by a petrol/diesel engine similar to a go-kart with levers to control the tracks on each side, like the real thing. Callum and Tom were experts and very welcoming. Something our grandson will remember for many years, a truly amazing experience for him.

Great morning trying out new things with Tom and Doug. I was a bit nervous that it would be full of men and a bit macho…but it was so much fun. We had three couples in our session, plus two ladies and we all made great progress thanks to the very able and witty tuition of Tom and Doug. Some were good at shooting, others at throwing axes so it was good to see everyone improve with a bit of practice. Gets a bit chilly in the woods this time of year so dress up warm and wear sensible shoes. There’s loos on site and you can have a (free) copy of tea or coffee before/after. I’ve definitely got the bug so will give it a go again! Highly recommended.

Fantastic morning at Leisure Matters at the weekend for my son’s 9th birthday outdoor laser party. Well-run, with a clear safety briefing, spacious under cover areas for parents to group at their designated table, where the kids come for a water break and after event food; spacious car park, friendly staff, free tea and coffee. The setting is great, on a large, private expanse of woodland dotted with camouflage platforms, blocks and other equipment for hiding behind. There’s a real sense of excitement as you see the children in their camouflage suits running around, working in teams from the comfort of your table. Yes, there’s no on-site cafe and just two portable loos but for me it was refreshing to find somewhere not overly commercialised with extra costs everywhere. Not many places offer you a free cup of tea or coffee anymore. I will be back either with my children to try the tanks or to try one of the adult events, such as archery and axe-throwing.

Leisure Matters provided a well organised activity day for my stag event.
The day was organised into laser tag (with hyper shock) with two breaks in the morning.
In the afternoon, we did archery and .22 rifle shooting.
None of us had tried laser tag before, but we were pleasantly surprised by the format.
Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about the hyper-shock, but I was glad to find out that the electrodes went on my back, and not on my chest!
On reflection, all ten of us thought the hyper-shock was a good feature because it made it easier to know when you'd been hit or fragged, especially when the adrenaline was pumping. It also became more comical when you started sweating, because electric shocks became more intense!
We also felt that 2 hours of laser tag was enough for the group, and it was nice to chill a bit doing the shooting and the archery in the afternoon.
The staff were cheery and friendly. The company owner was also informative, organised and had a good sense of humour.
I'd recommend Leisure Matters to anyone wanting to organise an 'alternative' stag event.

We booked an archery, shooting and axe throwing session which were fantastic fun and we were well looked after by Tom and team. All precautions have been taken and it is very easy to distance whilst doing the activities. Highly recommended for a visit, especially whilst options are limited during restrictions.

I had booked Archery, .22 Air Rifle Shooting & Axe Throwing combo for 2 hours for my husbands birthday as a surprise for him and his friends. The experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Tom the instructor was so lovely and entertaining. He had us all laughing for the whole 2 hours to the point where we were in tears. Made the whole experience that much better.
Nina who I had booked the event with went above and beyond to find us a time slot as it was so last minute, which I really appreciated.
I would 100% recommend this event and we will be visiting again soon.

This was booked for my niece's 17th birthday, activities for all the family to take part in.
Even covid-19 and a chilly December day couldn't dampen our excitement, from kids to adults we had an incredible experience. As an extra surprise for my niece's birthday she had a go in the mini tanks and she loved every minute. Then we took part in axe throwing, archery and rifle shooting. I highly recommend this to everyone and anyone it's a must do experience.
We as a family will be back! All the staff were welcoming, friendly and polite. Tom was patience, a great instructor with great banter and a sense of humour which really made our experience all the more fantastic, both adults and kids loved him. We never stopped laughing and having fun. The activities and the competitive games that he got us to take part in, in each activity were great and were throughly enjoyable.

Great customer service when booking with clear instructions and directions !
Super helpful on the day aswell and a big thank you to the patience and extra tlc given to my youngest son (aged 10) who has autism - he had a fab time in the mini tanks and you helped to make him feel less anxious. My eldest (14) LOVED It! We were quite jealous ! There was also a great family game of laser tag going on nearby too so that's next on the list! You can also do archery, axe throwing so great fun if you make a day of it.
Lovely setting in the woods too plus shelter for bad weather / sun if you want to have a big group or party.
