Nice clean beach with bit loose sand , good part is it is hidden behind few resorts so crowd is less but entry to beach is hidden and difficult to find , also as crowd is limited you have very few shacks there , for a peaceful getaway perfect place

Great beach with entertainment and water sports.
Lots of shacks where you can relax and have food and drinks.
We went and had nice prawn curry with fries and drinks.
Very cheap to eat at the shack.

Super clean, quiet and the the tranquil sundown is a must watch. Paragliding and many shacks are there on the beach.

One of the finest hidden and non touristy beaches . Water sports , cleanliness and wonderful shacks . Do not expect very huge crowds except weekends. If you want to enjoy quieter moments go further left towards Zuri White sands where the better shacks are during the season .

We stayed at Caravela beach resort situated at Varca Beach which looks pure blue in colour. The beach is not crowdy and is very clean. The best part about this beach is the sunset. Sun sets right in the middle of Arabian sea here and is completely painted in red colour in the evening. You can enjoy boat rides and some other sports here and it is also not dangerous if you walk towards the sea. Must visit in south Goa....

My friend and I stayed at a yoga retreat in Orlim and every afternoon we would head down to the beach for a few hours before our yoga class at 5.30pm every evening. It is a quiet unspoilt beach and Capricorn cafe and the staff are welcoming and the service was friendly and reasonably priced. Lovely soft sand. It is worth a visit

It was a mesmerizing night at the musical evening with the 90's Bollywood songs. The feeling of the evening was complete with Ms. Kumkum's singing. Kudos to Team Happy Hub.

Is Majestic Palms Villa next to Joecon ( not Majestic beach comfort) - a good place to stay for 5days with family and young children end of Jan.
We are making a last minute trip and want to relax and just enjoy the day in lazy way and maybe some excursions.
Any options for fair price food and restaurants in the area ? Don't want to be treated with 5star price as it seem the location is surrounded by high end resorts . Thanks in advance.

Very sorry, Can't answer this. We stayed at the wonderful Caravela Beach Resort, after a 2 week full on tour of India, and only ventured to the beach! (Which is lovely)

Is this beach safe to sit in evening after 7-8 pm?.
Also, i will be staying in sterling varca . This property is around 1 km away from beach as per maps.
Is it safe to go back to hotel from beach after 8 pm.

Only motor boating, and para sailing. But nowhere near international standards. A guy plants his dirty foot in your back to keep your torso straight, and tied with knots, no hooks used. A joke of water sports.

Mishas on Varca beach just outside Club Mahindra on the beach.
Hi I am travelling during Christmas (25,26 and 27th December) to Club Mahindra Varca. Would someone assist with how much does water sporting activities cost? Is it better to take from resort OR go to other vendors outside resort? Also how crowded is Club Mahindra resorts? I know its wrong to expect less crowd, however its better to know.

Getting accomodation in Christmas at Goa is always a dicey affair. Pl book, confirm and go. Club Mahindra Varca is almost at the southern tip of Goa and crowd is less in the beach there. Unfortunately it is the Taxi and water sports mafia which operate in that area and are unreasonable in the pricing. The water sports offered by the Club is the best option or can look to Colva beach for more and less expensive options.

Is the Varca beach only accessible as a private beach from one of the resorts here or is there a public beach which is accessible to all? I am planning to stay at Cavelossim and make a trip to Varca Beach from there, hence the query.

Public is also there at varca beach through some internal roads. No restrictions.

Высокий сезон начинается в конце сентября, в октябре-ноябре уже вовсю он идет) Туристов достаточно в основном наших в это время, кафе открыты, зелень посвежевшая после сезона дождей вовсю цветет. Самое время посетить Гоа!
