The road is neat and the view is superb! You can see all of Dharamshala from its roof. You can also spot the cricket stadium from here and savor the beauty of the valley.

You can walk to it, though it may take couple of hours. But if you need a vehicle, go by a taxi, as they know the roads and can offer to show other nearby places.

Indru Nag is local rain God, which is to be worshipped prior to any significant event motion n Dharmshala. 5 km from city centre, a a spiral uphill single road leads to the temple hill, where you can have a bird's eye view of Dharmshala city, worship Indru Nag shrine or if you wanna try some adventure then take a paraglide flight also, which is available at Rs 1500 per head.
If you intend to try a short trecking route, one can treck to Mcleodganj from here, you will reach Mcleodganj in just one and half hour's treck passing through 2 villages and a small rivulet.

Indru nag temple is local temple and popular among locals. Situate almost 30 minutes drive from City on narrow road uphill. Good view of hills and surrounding snow capped mountains.

The place is peaceful and serene. That's it. Else nothing extraordinary about this place. Not a typical touristy place. But I will still recommend a visit to this place because of the view it offers of the Dharamshala city. One can great view of the city from this place as it is located on hill. Nice place.

It was a short 60 minute trip to this place which was totally unplanned. January is a very cold month to be here but thankfully there was no snow. Few kilometers away from main dharamshala I never knew something can be so picturesque. During summers this place hosts the paragliding thereby making it a perfect viewpoint for the valley. You can see several kilometers away into the valley from here. Few snack joints serve you coffee etc. Must visit if you are in dharamshala

We happened to be here by chance. We went searching for paragliding and we're gilded to this place. Unfortunately the weather did not permit that activity and it was closed for the day.

But the location was very nice. You can spend at least 2 hrs here. The temple was also good. This location has got 2 hotels too. Overall a nice place.

This is not so popular place. I was going to bir billing for paragliding but had to cancel as it was banned there till September due to rains, then I came to know about this place which was just 20 min far from me through local guy. Road to place was narrow, have to be careful but once you will reach there, it's gonna be heaven, cool weather, paragliding going on, short trekking, beautiful temple. Whole dharamsala was visible from there, even whole cricket stadium. Down it was totally clear sky but we were in clouds. Small restaurant also there. Spend good time at Temple with beautiful pics as views are awesome. Do visit there even if you don't wanna do paragliding.
