This Monastery is near Library & the Tibetan parliament. It should be visited. There is a place with so many diyas (lights).

The place has such a good positive vibes that I have seen hanging around for hours and hours without doing anything really. You will just enjoy the positive environment without doing anything and without getting bored

A place to visit to wind out of the city buzz. Peaceful place that wasn't crowded, nearby there was the Tibetan Parliament in Exile and the Tibetan Archives of works. Visit to gain a glimpse of Tibetan culture and way of living

Nechung Monastery is must and very nice place. It was very silent place and very cleaned too. Wall paintings was also worth watching.

We sat in the temple and listened to the chants and watched the monks for ages doing there thing. Such a special place and would defo recommenced.

If you are in Mcleod Ganj, don't miss this place by any chance. While on the way you will also find small shops which have got much to offer than the shops in the main market. But this place is above everything, a peaceful environment...More

An excellent place to go for some peace, sometimes i go there just to sit in the gomba and meditate a little, if you are lucky you might run into the oracle and maybe he can tell you something about yourself you didnt know
