This was a great go to beach with lots of room to spread out. At low tide all the rocks were exposed providing small title pools for the really young ones. There are several great surfing spots that my teenagers and husband spent surfing for...More

This beach normally has bigger waves than Tamarindo and a lot less crowded. You must eat at Taco Star when you go.

This is a much better beach comparing to Tamarindo if you are looking for a quieter nicer beach with same white sand and blue waters. There are board rentals and small shots for drinks or small snack. I recommend this place completely.

We had heard and read a lot about this beautiful secluded surfing spot, but not at all like described. It was quite crowded. The entrance is a narrow two lane dirt road that had a traffic jam just to park. It was horrible to find...More

Beautifull and great surf. Access road is a dirt one but worth the drive. Locals charge 2000 to park. On site restaurant is way overpriced.

Looked for a surf beach for him and a swim / body surf beach for me. This was lovely - tip the guy at the parking lot about a $1 or $2 and enjoy the soft sand beaches and genteel surfers

I would recommend contacting Iguana Surf they are in Tamarindo. They can rent you a board and make arrangement to get you there, they can also provide you an instructor if you wish. I would suggest staying in Tamarindo... More
