Our falconer Rebecca was beyond knowledgeable! She took her time to educate us on each of the Birds of Prey we encountered. She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best falconry experience ever! We got up close and personal with a Bald Eagle, Hoot the Great Grey Owl, a Peregrine Falcon, a Great Horned Owl, and 2 Harris Hawks. This was truly an experience we will never forget!

My wife booked the three hour package and it was an amazing experience!
Our guide Rebecca was very helpful and answered so many questions about the birds that we saw and got to handle. We learned so much about these birds during our visit.

By far the best part of the experience was to put on one of the protective gloves and being able to handle some of the birds.
At the end we got also got to have one of the hawks named Buckshot come swooping in to land on our gloved hand to take a piece of meat for them to eat.

There were hawks, owls and eagles to see.
What was also so interesting was the different personalities of each of the birds.

An amazing experience! We will definitely tell our family and friends! Thank you!

My wife got this experience for us quite some time ago but we never got around to going out until now. It was a little bit out there in terms of getting to their location but understandable considering the animals they are dealing with.

We were greeted by Rebecca who was phenomenal in terms of interaction (1 to 1 and with the animal) and her level of knowledge that she displayed. She brought out Tank who was a Great Horned Owl and was able to give very intricate information about his nonchalant attitude. The level of knowledge shown was impressive and within the first 10 minutes learned a ton more then I already knew.

After the owl, we taken into some of the bird enclosures which was an awesome experience. You never really know how large a Golden Eagle is until you see them upfront (FYI, They are huge!!!)

Handling the Harris Hawk was an unforgettable experience. Light as a feather themselves and very fun! Having a healthy respect for all of the animals is definitely key here. Between the razor shape claws and beaks, you don't want to mess with them unless the potential for scars are your thing.

Overall, this was awesome!

My husband and I signed up for the 3-hour experience and we were guided by Rebecca. We had a great up front tour to see all of the birds, learned about the various species on hand, then participated in feeding, handling, and then of course flying! We loved all of the birds!

I bought this experience for my sons' birthday and thankfully he asked me to join him. What a great experience. The birds were all very chatty... hearing the call of a bald eagle from only a few yards away is quite a thrill. The young lady hosting us was obviously enthusiastic about working with the birds and happily answered all of our questions. The Golden Eagle was relaxed as we witnessed her preening herself. Actually handling a peregrine falcon was very special. I would go again in a heartbeat.

We visited Hawkeye this afternoon and our guide was Rebecca. This was a gift from my daughter and her husband as they know I love birds of prey. What an amazing experience. Rebecca was passionate and informative and the whole afternoon was very special. Myself and my girlfriend had so much fun and learned so much. I would highly recommend the 3 hour experience. Thanks Rebecca for a great day playing with birds of prey.

The one hour falconry experience was amazing. The staff member was friendly and helpful. The owls were very nice to see. Being able to actually fly the hawk was a cool experience. If you like birds you should go to Hawkeye!
