Beautiful, cheap walk through the national garden. 250 yen flat rate for a walk through this huge park! We went in winter, which meant brown grass and not much flowering and it was still beautiful. The best part was the greenhouse. A huge greenhouse full...More

Beautiful garden ii the middle of the city with lots of variety. Totally worth the entry fee. I spent a lot of time here, b/c there was so much to see.

A beautiful quiet haven in the heart of the city. The formal gardens are stunning and the park was full of local people enjoying the spring sunshine and early blossoms. From here it was an easy walk to Shinjuku or Harajuku - so great location...More

Absolutely beautiful gardens. Kept in pristine condition. So worth the very cheap entry fee, and a great way to escape the noise and the activity of downtown Tokyo!

We went in winter, so there wasn't much to see, but it was still very well kept, and a nice walk around. The greenhouse as well had lots to see, and flowers and plants were in bloom there so definitely worth a visit. Given the...More

We went early one morning right in the middle of sakura season. We arrived at the main entrance which was very crowded. As you enter the park people start to spread out, but many go for the area with a lot of sakura trees. As...More

Went there in May and the place is beautiful! Their Japanese gardens are very very nice and they have small pocket areas where families could have a picnic. It's a nice place to spend the day just looking at the trees, sceneries and relaxing. There...More

This park is amazingly well kept and beautiful. This is an oasis in the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. Amazing greenhouse and huge ponds to see all for a nominal fee.

We went here at to see the cherry blossoms, and it was beautiful. It’s quite a large park, so there were some places that weren’t too crowded, and others that were. There were places where there were so many blossoms on the ground that the...More
