Que cette église est belle, de dedans comme de dehors, majestueuse devant la mer. Une merveille d'architecture.

Church of Our Lady of the Pirates is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, who gives her name to the legend in which pirates stole Our Lady's wooden statue from the church during their ravage on Komiža. The legend says that the ship was destroyed after few days by the storm, and the statue floated away, arriving in front of the church itself

A really nice place to visit. The legend of the church is interesting and the beach in front of it is lovely! I also reccomend visiting the Pizza bar next to it for a drink.

Church N1 in Komiža!
Because it's open for visit ( contrary to St. Nicholas monastery and other churches nearby) and prayer to our Lord and have nice,
carefully and beautifully carved altars to see.

A very beautiful church located in front of the beach, which can be discovered during mass because otherwise you only admire the exterior.
