Flags, weapons, drums & parades. Medieval dresses and ancient times revival. Good food and beverages in a "real" medieval village which every year precipitates into its historical origins, leaving anxiety and the stress of modern era.

It was beautiful. You imagine yourself in the Robin Hood / Romeo and Juliet era. All through the village you could find groups of flag throwers, stalls with traditional food and drink and other shows. Really worth a visit.

A lot of fun, But things start later so if your not a night owl or will be bringing children plan on taking naps! Also be sure to try the Pane Christiano, it is a delicious sandwich made with olives and peppers and spices but...More

This is one of our must visits every year while we lived in Sicily! Small festival, easy to get to (parking can be a nightmare ... but parking in many Sicilian towns often is). Generally there are folk dances, a magician, tours of the "castle"...More
