We were holidaying nearby and visited Locorotondo twice on our stay. It was probably our favourite place. It is just a beautiful little town on the hilltop. As well as the fabulous views, the old town is just lovely to wander round for an hour...More

A little town with only one or two main streets with shops etc, mostly it’s just houses. The views are the best part of the town. We spent less than an hour here.

We have visited all of the villages near where we were staying and Locorotondo’s Storico was lovely. Maybe not as good as Martina Franca and Alberobello, but definitely worth a visit. Especially good for restaurants.

The old part of Locorotondo is classic Italian. A whitewashed labyrinth of small alleys, wonderful flower boxes and small and tempting eateries. The Centro is small and far less tourist oriented than neighbouring Alberobello but if you are in the area then the extra distance...More

Drove here with family for a visit as we were staying in nearby Alberobello. Typical of us we turn up at lunchtime in the midday sun so it’s scorching. Parked nearby then walked up the centre. A steep climb but worth it. Lots of streets...More

This is a lovely little place with a stone gateway into the old town and the true feel of Puglia. Unspoilt by tourism the locals sit in the shade in the communal gardens after lunch overlooking the vineyards and olive trees. There are some interesting...More
