Very bad experience the church is closed. The Second time in italy that happened to us. Some years ago the same happened on Malta in many churches. But for Sicily it’s a really a pitty

Yes, it's a beautiful old church with lots of nice little details to see. Once you step inside it's very calming and peaceful.

My wife and I found this hidden work of art by accident while strolling in the small town of Ispica. on route to Noto. we were overwhelmed by the Basilicas beauty both the structure its self and the wonderful frescos inside. This is worth taking...More

The church and the piazza it sits one are a stunning example of Sicilian Baroque. We got to this town by accident, I was not expecting anything like this - Ispica is at least as good as Noto and without the crowds. VISIT

Thank you for having this special church open all the time. I was able to light a candle for an ill friend and offer prayers while visiting Ispica. The interior is stunning.

if you are interested in Baroque architecture this is a stop well worth making. The little square in front of the church is modelled on saint peter's square in Rome and frames the church beatifully.
