I came here not knowing of it on a tour bus from Catania. What a super surprise. Lovely promenade and to see the Cyclops rocks was an unexpected treat. The rocks make for great pictures.

This is an amazing, unmissable spot in the area. Lovely spots where to have an aperitivo and amazing restaurants all around. A must go place!

lovely stroll along the shoreline, the lungomare and see the fishing boats with the background of the Faraglioni. Better still to take a local small boat and have a 20 minute round going round these small islands and finding time to actually go on one...More

We visited the Faraglioni on Sunday afternoon. Although the village is picturesque and the Faraglioni themselves quite the sight, I would recommend visiting the promenade during the week, since the Catanese populate the whole area and it becomes quite busy and noisy

There is a bus running from Catania to Aci Trezza via Aci Castello around once per hour. I stayed in a hotel beteen Catania and Aci Trezza and often caught it. Look at the website of the Catania bus company. Unfortunately... More
