Not miss. A very good and beautiful path to discover . Take a good look around on the market at the beginning and prolong your walk at the end. You can really various parts of New York . Always check availability because in winter sometimes it is closed due to its icy conditions

This is a promenade walkway created by 2 entrepreneurial New Yorkers who saw a use for a disused railway line (you can still see some of the track) . It is a level 1.75 miles long walkway starting from the Meatpackers District in the south to the Chelsea District- or vice versa.
